A ray of hope - ToAndFro #2

Hiding fears behind the smile,
Just like an empty silhouette standing for a while,
Hidden secrets of past years,
Disclosed out only through tears.

Something seems like been taken away, maybe my soul,
And has created an overshadowed me and left a big hole.
Although my past doesn't define me, what I am today,
Because each day is a new beginning and there is always another way.

A way to redeem me, A way to believe in me,
Having a HOPE that will be my ray of light.
Forever guiding me through my times of plight.

Things might get better or they might turn worst,
But the hope that I can make a difference has been a never ending thirst.
I have power to make the change, if they can, why not me?
I can be all the things that I want to be.

I want to be the person you can talk to when your life goes haywire,
Instead of burning yourself up like a fire.
I want to be the reason for people to smile,
Even if i look like a clown for a while.

I want to be all the things that I have dreamt of,
I want to be an ideal to be desired,
I want to reach the possibilities which nobody has touched yet,
I want to have the fire in me to inspire.

I know I can do it. I know I will do it.
As the Clouds will finally disappear, The morning sun will once again appear.

I'm confused between my mind and my heart, Some mixed feelings; completing me or tearing apart. I'm unsure of what has happened but I have a clue, Yet I left it as an unchecked view. Because I know the outcome or maybe I'm scared? Or I like to keep my door covered not bared. Or I haven't thought about it and like to keep it that way, Or I have thought it long enough and don't like to say, With incompleteness in my eyes, heaviness in my soul, With lost capability to think and chaotic control, I take sigh and think about my story, still untold.
