The Phases
In the succumb to darkness with a ray of light
Who am I kidding there is no light
Glass looks empty but it might be half filled
Perception is degrading, aren't you thrilled?
I bet these phases come and go and nobody talks about them
What if we talked would it really help?
Life is a tragedy today might be something else tomorrow
Looking at bright side, maybe a little less sorrow
You see, the passion is missing and the urge is dying
Not even a single day passes without lying
Because the pieces are missing and really who cares?
Would you help or pass right by with such stares?
Who am I kidding there is no light
Glass looks empty but it might be half filled
Perception is degrading, aren't you thrilled?
I bet these phases come and go and nobody talks about them
What if we talked would it really help?
Life is a tragedy today might be something else tomorrow
Looking at bright side, maybe a little less sorrow
You see, the passion is missing and the urge is dying
Not even a single day passes without lying
Because the pieces are missing and really who cares?
Would you help or pass right by with such stares?

Just like changing phases of the moon showcase the emotional and psychological transitions we go through during life, The Phases captures all those emotional phases of transitional experience we encounter. The reflective tone and vivid images make this poem relatable to anyone in the midst of a personal growth process or change. Interestingly, while navigating phases of life that call for support, many students turn to online class helpers to get support during academic transitions, thus keeping track during the juggling of multiple responsibilities.
